You'll own the design and optimization of fraud rules and strategies for a digital banking platform serving small businesses, using data to balance risk prevention and customer experience. Your core impact: turning fraud trend insights into automated rules that protect millions of users while minimizing false positives.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze fraud trends and backtest rule changes
• Design and optimize fraud rules across onboarding, payments, and account usage
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed fraud controls in new features
• Monitor rule performance and iterate for ongoing improvement

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years in fraud, risk strategy, or data analysis in fintech/banking/payments
• Proficient in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, subqueries)
• Ability to own projects end-to-end from problem definition to solution
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

✨ Nice to Have

• Credit risk experience with portfolio analysis and underwriting models
• Proficient in Python for advanced analysis or automation
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
