💼 About This Role

You'll support multi-entity accounting operations and business unit financial reporting at Relay Commerce, a portfolio of e-commerce software solutions. Your core impact is bridging accounting execution with finance analysis to help GMs understand financial performance and drive profitability. This role combines the precision of month-end close with the analytical challenge of explaining "why the numbers moved."

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain BU dashboards in Syft
• Prepare monthly variance analysis for GM reviews
• Own deferred revenue recognition across SaaS products
• Support Assistant Controller on month-end close tasks

📋 Requirements

• 5-7 years of accounting or finance operations experience
• Month-end close experience including reconciliations and journal entries
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting platforms
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)

✨ Nice to Have

• SaaS, technology, or e-commerce experience (deferred revenue, MRR)
• Familiarity with expense management platforms (Ramp, Expensify, etc.)
• Experience with financial reporting/BI tools (Syft, Fathom, etc.)
