Description
You will oversee the company's accounting policy function, including analyzing complex transactions, implementing new FASB standards, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. You'll also lead financial reporting for multiple entities and enhance internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 10+ years accounting experience, minimum 5 in public accounting
- CPA with active license
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and working knowledge of IFRS
- SAP and Hyperion/HFM experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting policy function: analyze complex transactions, document conclusions, communicate to stakeholders
- Monitor new FASB standards and lead implementation efforts
- Maintain accounting policy library and provide staff training
- Prepare and review financial statement footnotes for debt, CECL, etc.
- Lead quarterly and annual Property reports for multiple legal entities
