💼 About This Role

You'll join DIS-TRAN Steel's team in Pineville, LA as an Equipment Operator in the receiving warehouse. You'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory, load/unload trucks, and support production needs. This role also serves as backup for receiving, requiring use of computer systems to process incoming materials.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials
• Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage orders for shipment or plant use

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling roles preferred
• Previous experience operating forklifts required
• Basic computer skills required to learn inventory or receiving systems

• Experience with industrial or electrical materials
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices
