💼 About This Role

You'll lead mechanical design of ground station antennas, including structures, RF waveguide filtering, and assembly tooling. Your work will directly impact satellite communication hardware deployed globally. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge space communications technologies and see your designs deployed in real-world locations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design structures, mechanisms, and environmental systems for satellite ground stations
• Design RF waveguide filtering and feed structures for high-performance antennas
• Design fabrication and assembly tooling, including test fixtures and weldments
• Collaborate with RF, electrical, and manufacturing engineers for system integration

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years experience designing and building hardware
• Experience taking a product from concept to production
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling and drafting
• Experience with weldments, tooling, GSE, and fixture design
• Experience with mechanical/thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS)
