πΌ About This Role
You'll own the end-to-end deal desk process for a retail data science company, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Legal to accelerate deal cycles and protect margin. You'll drive commercial governance and quoting standardization across the organization. This role offers a chance to shape a newly built team with future people leadership responsibilities.
π― What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end deal desk process: intake, triage, structuring, and approval routing.
- Establish pricing/discount guardrails and exception policies to protect margin.
- Partner with Sales to structure competitive quotes aligned to company policy.
- Coordinate cross-functional deal reviews with Finance, Legal, RevOps, and leadership.
- Drive contract and quote standardization using templates and playbooks.
π Requirements
- 8+ years of similar experience in Retail or CPG industry
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (pricing, discounting, margin, ARR/ACV)
- Experience building scalable processes and governance (approval frameworks, SLAs, playbooks)
- Proficiency with CRM/CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce+CPQ) and data integrity
