💼 About This Role

You'll act as the technical translator between customers and engineering, owning end-to-end engagements from mission discussions to contract signature. You'll drive clarity in fast-moving, ambiguous settings, communicating complex ideas with precision. This role ideal for someone from a modern space service provider who thrives on customer-facing technical challenges and LEO satellite programs.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead customer conversations translating mission needs into technical requirements
  • Evaluate customer design requirements and align with Loft's program offerings
  • Own technical proposal content including architectures and mission analyses
  • Coordinate between Business Development and Engineering to drive discussions to outcomes

📋 Requirements

  • ~5+ years experience in systems engineering, mission operations, or aerospace engineering on LEO satellite programs
  • Experience with evaluation of satellite payloads, mission planning, and CONOPS
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely in English
  • Experience working across functions in fast-paced organizations with shifting priorities

  • Prior customer-facing technical roles (sales engineering, solutions engineering, mission architecture)
  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of LEO missions, including Earth Observation
