💼 About This Role

You'll design molds and tools for customer parts at a startup reshaping the composites industry. You'll own production cost-down and DFM efforts to help scale operations. Hands-on work with production to understand bottlenecks and improve processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design molds and tools for customer parts with documentation.
• Generate ply/kits from customer designs and projector data.
• Lead cost-down and DFM efforts for customer production.
• Work hands-on with production to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering.
• Background/experience in composites manufacturing from school, hobby, or work.
• Proficient in a professional CAD suite (NX, SolidWorks, Catia, etc.).
• U.S. Persons status for access to export-controlled data.

✨ Nice to Have

• Understanding of designing for composites lamination, machining, and 3D printing.
• Experience with VARTM, compression molding, trapped rubber molding, or wet-layup.
