💼 About This Role

You'll fabricate and weld steel structures and assemblies for an autonomous electric tractor platform, enabling fast iteration now and repeatable builds for the first production batch. Working closely with workshop and engineering colleagues, you'll ensure quality and repeatability in a dynamic startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Weld and fabricate steel structures, brackets, and frames from drawings and jigs (MIG/MAG; TIG when needed)
• Prepare material: cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting; hold tight tolerances for repeatable assemblies.
• Build and improve assembly jigs/fixtures to increase quality and reduce rework.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on design-for-manufacturing improvements.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience welding and fabricating steel structures (vehicles, industrial or construction equipment)
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with dimensions and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
