💼 About This Role

You'll lead CMC strategy and execution across a multimodality portfolio at Pioneering Medicines, an initiative of Flagship Pioneering. Your impact will drive end-to-end development for novel treatments and build a best-in-class CDMO network.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead CMC functions including Drug Substance Development, Analytical Development, and Regulatory CMC
• Build and scale the CMC organization, recruit and develop a high-performing team
• Manage end-to-end CMC execution across a multimodality portfolio, ensuring programs advance on time
• Oversee CDMO network strategy, selection, and relationship management

📋 Requirements

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with 15+ years of progressive CMC experience
• 5+ years in senior leadership with direct accountability for CMC strategy across multiple programs
• Deep hands-on expertise in small molecules and biologics

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in advanced modalities (nucleic acids, cell or gene therapies)
• Experience with AI/ML and digital process development tools
