💼 About This Role

You'll develop real-time embedded software for controlling Layer 0 optical components in advanced DWDM systems. You'll build control loops for managing lasers, optical power, and signal quality to ensure high-performance optical transport. This role combines embedded systems, control logic, and photonic hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement embedded software for Layer 0 optical control systems
• Develop and optimize control loops for optical power and wavelength stabilization
• Interface with hardware components such as lasers, VOAs, and amplifiers
• Develop low-level drivers and hardware abstraction layers (I2C, SPI)

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong programming in C/C++ and/or Rust
• Experience with embedded Linux or low-level systems programming
• Hands-on experience interfacing with hardware and developing drivers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working on DWDM, ROADM, or optical transport systems
• Background in control theory, signal processing, or physics-based systems
• Experience with YANG/OpenConfig/NETCONF network management models
