🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead process development and material validation of graphite components and tribological systems.
• Characterize graphite properties, identify failure modes, and execute validation tests.
• Create and optimize material and process specifications for graphite and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, and quality teams to qualify processes and controls.

📋 Requirements

• MS in Materials Science/Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• MS + 8 years or PhD + 5 years of industry experience.
• Deep understanding of isostatic graphite structure, properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships in engineering materials.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with volume production of graphite components.
• Knowledge of dry tribology relative to ceramic or graphite materials.
• Working knowledge of FMEA and statistical data analysis (Matlab/Python, Weibull++).
