💼 About This Role

You'll welcome and orient youth participants to the TAY Health and Wellness Center, connecting them to critical resources like showers, lockers, and case management. You'll foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere while performing wellness checks and de-escalating conflicts. This role is part of GLIDE's integrated services to break cycles of poverty.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Welcome and orient participants to the Center and its resources.
• Perform safety and wellness checks inside and around the Center.
• Connect participants to case managers, housing specialists, and partners.
• Maintain accurate records of engagements using Salesforce or paper logs.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in health or human services providing advocacy or navigation.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with de-escalation and managing high-stress situations.

✨ Nice to Have

• Mental Health First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar databases.
• Experience in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
