You'll lead the search platform at Postman, owning architecture and roadmap for distributed indexing pipelines and high-performance web servers. You'll improve relevance tuning and data models to handle growing data volume. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of infrastructure, relevance, and developer experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end architecture and roadmap of search platform
• Contribute to improving search relevance through signal engineering
• Keep system performant and reliable for growing data volume
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and drive initiatives

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years experience building applications in high-level languages
• Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch/Apache Solr/OpenSearch
• Experience with Apache Kafka and streaming pipelines
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms, Networking, OS)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Spark/Flink/Ray
• Strength in AI, NLP, Ranking or Recommendation Systems
