You'll own the DCC Tools domain as the central technical expert, supporting rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art teams in a fully remote game studio. Your core impact is building and maintaining robust Python-based automation systems and consolidating fragmented tools into a unified, reliable pipeline. You'll act as the key coordination point between technical and artistic stakeholders, ensuring clarity in tools and workflows.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Define and maintain interfaces between pipeline engineering and art departments.
  • Consolidate and standardize DCC toolsets across Maya, 3DS Max, and Substance tools.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based tools and automation systems.
  • Research and prototype new pipeline strategies for production efficiency.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 5+ years in Technical Art, Pipeline Engineering, or related roles.
  • Expert-level Python programming with OOP design principles.
  • Strong experience with at least one major DCC tool (3DS Max or Substance).
  • Deep understanding of artist workflows across rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Maya experience preferred.
  • Solid experience with production tracking systems integrated within DCC environments.
  • Hands-on experience with asset export pipelines.
