Description

As a Senior Industrial Engineer at Rocket Lab, you will drive production system design and implementation for the Neutron launch vehicle, ensuring efficient use of space, manpower, and facilities. You'll oversee factory layouts, equipment selection, and production commissioning, working with aerospace manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing processes (carbon composite lamination, automated fiber placement, CNC machining, large structural assemblies, etc.)
• Experience with low-flow, high-mix production system design
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams efficiently

Responsibilities

• Review value stream mapping and method of manufacture plans
• Define and implement factory layouts
• Manage equipment selection, FAT, SAT, and production commissioning
• Design and commission manufacturing improvements for product, process, and equipment
