Description

You will lead high-impact initiatives to build systems that intelligently manage and forecast resource needs for Temporal Cloud, directly influencing infrastructure efficiency, customer experience, and platform cost strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure (cloud compute, storage, networking)
• Strong intuition in cloud cost management, utilization tracking, and workload forecasting
• Track record of designing distributed systems in production cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• 6+ years building production software using Go, Java, or similar languages

Responsibilities

• Drive technical vision and roadmap for Cloud Capacity systems
• Design and implement infrastructure for resource utilization tracking and forecasting
• Lead development of a resource manager for infrastructure efficiency optimization
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud Infrastructure, and Finance on provisioning and pricing
• Guide long-term strategy for autoscaling, workload isolation, and multi-tenant performance
