Description

You will build and scale the foundational infrastructure for core experiences across Brex, including notification engines, commenting systems, and workflow builders. Work on full-stack challenges from backend APIs to frontend UX, and leverage AI to streamline user workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack products
• Strong proficiency in backend languages: Java, Kotlin, Python
• Experience with scalable, high-availability distributed systems
• Experience designing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services; modern frontend tech (ES6+, React, TypeScript, Webpack)

Responsibilities

• Build new features and products end-to-end
• Own problems from UX to data models, scalability, and metrics
• Provide technical leadership: roadmap direction, architectural design, mentorship
• Work with user-facing teams to understand customer needs
• Tune and polish features; identify and implement reliability and performance improvements
