Description

You will provide tax preparation, planning, and consulting support for clients and the Tax and Accounting team, under the mentorship of a Senior Tax Consultant. Your work directly helps serve agriculture and rural communities through a member-owned cooperative.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of tax planning and preparation principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and organization

Responsibilities

• Prepare income tax returns and tax estimates for clients
• Research and present tax planning opportunities
• Process accounting transactions and deliver financial statements
• Maintain a portfolio of tax clients and collect on delinquent accounts
• Assist with client visits and community events
