Description

You will lead payroll and benefits delivery across Canada and the US, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a diverse workforce. You'll partner with People Values, Finance, and other teams to strengthen payroll controls, improve processes, and support benefits administration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive experience in payroll and benefits, preferably multi-national
  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian and US payroll requirements
  • PCP, CPM, or equivalent designation from National Payroll Institute preferred
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems; SAP or similar ERP is an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multi-national workforce including hourly, salaried, full-time, and part-time employees
  • Ensure compliance with all provincial, state, federal, and local payroll legislation
  • Manage payroll calendars, reconciliations, and year-end activities (T4s, T4As, RL-1s, US equivalents)
  • Serve as primary escalation point for complex payroll issues and employee inquiries
  • Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and data integrity
