Description

In this role, you'll lead a team designing and developing cutting-edge communications and data link systems for CHAOS Industries' Coherent Distributed Networks. You will work on advanced sensor products, develop new communications product families, and implement algorithms for directional beamforming, time-transfer, and GPS-independent positioning. Field tests and mentorship of junior engineers are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 10+ years experience in directional communications systems
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
• Expertise in digital signal processing and algorithm development
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced directive data links for CDN
• Reduce RF signature of data links
• Incorporate accurate time-transfer algorithms into the network
• Develop low-cost robust hardware for tactical environments
• Implement algorithms for directional beamforming in software and/or hardware
