💼 About This Role

You'll lead Esri's in-house media relations team, executing external communications strategy and nurturing relationships with global media. Your work will elevate the Esri brand across traditional and new media landscapes. This role offers the chance to shape PR strategy for a leader in GIS technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Coach, mentor, and lead the media relations team
• Serve as point of contact for PR inquiries and activities
• Oversee creation and management of communication plans for events and campaigns
• Build relationships with senior executive leaders across Esri

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in media relations
• 3+ years of experience coaching and mentoring a team
• Demonstrated success of securing media placements and working with executive stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field

• PR agency and in-house (B2B) experience for technology companies
• Understanding of GIS, mapping, and location analytics
