Description

As our first in-house legal counsel, you will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to navigate legal complexities related to government contracting and corporate matters, driving customer growth and overseeing compliance. You'll lead negotiations with government agencies and support M&A opportunities in a high-growth defense tech environment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and ability to obtain active VA or DC bar membership
• 10+ years experience in corporate legal, US government, or private practice
• Experience in U.S. Federal Government contracting, especially defense and intelligence
• Expert-level knowledge of FAR and DFARS
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth by executing new government contracts and growing existing ones
• Provide legal counsel and partnership to Capture and Contracts Management teams
• Oversee the company's ethics and compliance program
• Support evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities
• Lead and manage all legal matters, developing legal strategy and framework
