💼 About This Role

You'll shape decision-making systems that directly impact customer experience, trust, and fairness at Deliveroo. You'll own the full ML lifecycle, from design to productionisation, and build robust monitoring frameworks. Collaborate with product managers on high-stakes customer support models and provide technical leadership on evolving ML foundations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design, development, and productionisation of ML models
• Build robust monitoring, evaluation, and alerting frameworks
• Partner with Product Managers to define ML solutions
• Bridge science and engineering to embed models into scalable systems

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience as an ML Engineer with production Python code
• Ownership of productionising Generative AI or Agentic AI workstreams
• Deploy and manage models with Docker, Kubernetes, and CircleCI
• Strong foundational knowledge of traditional ML and evaluation techniques

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with evaluation harnesses for Generative AI
• Familiarity with observability and safety techniques for GenAI systems
• Experience with Go or strongly typed languages
