💼 About This Role

You'll establish and lead research practices to inform product development at a fintech company. You'll define research philosophy, standards, and operating model to bring rigor to decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to build a research program from the ground up as a foundational hire in a fully remote, design-led organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define research philosophy, standards, and best practices across the organization
• Own and operate a continuous rolling research program for ongoing user feedback
• Conduct mixed-methods research: interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, experiments
• Lead strategic research initiatives and manage external research agencies

📋 Requirements

• Senior-level experience in product/UX research within digital product organizations
• Demonstrated ability to establish research practices in environments without mature research infrastructure
• Strong mixed-methods expertise with clear judgment on methodology selection
• Deep understanding of research rigor, bias mitigation, and insight synthesis

• Experience managing research vendors or agencies
• Experience building research ops infrastructure or participant panels
• Background working in design-led product organizations
