💼 About This Role

You'll ensure autonomous surface and undersea systems are built to stringent standards, blending innovation with discipline. You'll develop and enforce quality systems that support national security missions. This role builds the quality foundation for next-generation naval technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and sustain AS9100-compliant Quality Management System tailored to NavSea requirements.
• Implement statistical process controls and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as subject matter expert for NavSea standards and flowdown into manufacturing processes.
• Support Material Review Board and Root Cause Corrective Action process using 8D and 5 Whys.
• Plan and execute internal and supplier audits.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining AS9100 certified QMS.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Whys) and corrective actions.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Direct NavSea standards experience (SUBSAFE, NAVSEA S9074).
• Experience in maritime systems production (UUVs, ASVs, pressure vessels).
• ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
