Description

You will design and develop features for Couchbase's core database platform, focusing on low latency, scalability, and vector search capabilities. You'll work on technically challenging problems in distributed systems and contribute to next-gen cloud and vector database architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years backend development experience
• Strong grasp of C/C++, Python, Java, or Golang including language internals
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrent programming
• Good knowledge of OS, networks, and system programming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering

Responsibilities

• Contribute to core database platform features, including vector search
• Deliver tasks end-to-end from requirements to QA and support handover
• Take full ownership of tasks ensuring timely delivery
• Collaborate with team members to successfully deliver tasks
• Write high-quality code adhering to open source standards
