Description

You will plan, coordinate, and execute environmental tests to validate satellite survivability in launch and LEO conditions, including TVAC, vibration, and shock testing. You'll work with cross-functional teams, analyze test data, and maintain test infrastructure to ensure mission readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience in environmental testing of aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems
• Working knowledge of NASA GEVS and MIL-STD-810 standards
• Proficiency with TVAC chambers and vibration tables
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Thermal Vacuum, vibration, and shock testing on components, subsystems, and fully assembled satellites
• Coordinate logistics and scheduling with internal teams and external test facilities
• Analyze test data, interpret results, and provide feedback to design and manufacturing groups
• Operate and maintain internal environmental test infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of test anomalies and failures
