💼 About This Role

You'll teach pastry and baking classes at Sur La Table, inspiring customers with hands-on culinary education. You'll drive retail sales of bakeware and tools through engaging instruction. This role combines teaching and sales in a seasonal, part-time position.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Deliver pastry and baking classes following provided recipes and game plans.
• Set up and break down classes, including mise en place and cleaning.
• Drive sales by promoting retail items used in class and encouraging repeat sign-ups.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.

📋 Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older at time of employment.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Availability to work 12-16 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
