💼 About This Role

You'll develop heavy transport and rigging engineering plans for ship blocks and modules in a maritime autonomy company. You'll ensure safe and efficient movement of large loads across the shipyard. This role integrates with production and infrastructure planning in a fast-paced shipyard environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop engineering plans for transporting ship blocks using SPMTs.
• Calculate load distribution, stability, and ground pressures.
• Design rigging configurations and lifting frames for heavy loads.
• Coordinate transport engineering with crane lifts and erection strategies.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with heavy transport or rigging engineering.
• Understanding of structural load paths and lifting mechanics.
• Ability to develop engineering plans for large component lifting.

✨ Nice to Have

• Direct shipyard rigging and heavy lift experience.
• Experience with modular construction or large assembly operations.
• Experience transferring vessels from land-level facilities to drydock.
