💼 About This Role

You'll partner with Engineering to design and deploy ML and Gen-AI models that improve issue detection and triage efficiency for Waymo's autonomous driving operations. Your core impact will be defining policies and quality control for international market expansion into London and Tokyo. This role uniquely blends operational expertise with cutting-edge AI tooling development.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy ML/Gen-AI models for issue discovery and triage
• Define SOPs and quality control processes for AI-driven workflows
• Proactively identify on-road issue trends using AI insights
• Provide technical requirements for new market tooling localization

📋 Requirements

• BS/BA degree or 8+ years relevant experience in AV Software Quality Operations
• Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations in European (London) metropolitan areas
• Experience supporting all phases of the machine learning development lifecycle
• Experience with ML testing and validation including dataset quality assurance and bias detection

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with international or offshore vendor teams driving global process standardization
• Basic SQL querying skills
• Competency in LLM/transformer models or ML for robotics domain
