Description

You will lead structural loads, dynamics, and aeroelasticity analysis for the Omen autonomous air vehicle, a hover-to-cruise tail-sitter platform. Your work will directly ensure structural integrity and dynamic stability across VTOL, transition, and forward flight modes in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering or applied physics with structures focus
• Deep understanding of statics, dynamics, solid mechanics, finite element analysis and dynamic testing
• 15+ years experience in structures, loads, or dynamics role with hardware accountability
• Proficiency in FEMAP/Nastran or similar
• High ownership, self-starting, and able to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Develop structural loads analysis for air vehicles to ensure integrity under various flight and ground conditions
• Generate and maintain integrated dynamics FEMs for loads derivation and aeroelastic analyses
• Conduct aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic studies to predict and verify aircraft behavior
• Conduct flutter analysis to inform vehicle design and ensure flight safety
• Generate flight loads data per MIL and FAR specifications (FAR 23, 25, JSSG-2006)
