You'll drive new business and expansion within the public sector for Elastic's Search AI Platform. You'll own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing, accelerating revenue outcomes. This role combines outbound prospecting with value-based storytelling in a fast-paced, cloud-focused environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a proactive outbound cadence to generate โฅ50% of booked opportunities.
- Uncover pain, business impact, budget, and decision criteria using MEDDPICC.
- Craft and deliver tailored demos mapping Elastic's capabilities to measurable outcomes.
- Lead contract and pricing discussions to land multi-year consumption commitments.
๐ Requirements
- 3 years of SaaS quota-carrying success, overachieving in a consumption-based model.
- Expert discovery qualification skills using MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks.
- Track record of executive-level presentations tying product capabilities to business outcomes.
- Technical cloud fluency in observability, security, or search topics.
โจ Nice to Have
- Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company.
- Familiarity with observability (logs, metrics, traces) or security analytics (SIEM/XDR) use cases.
