Description

You will troubleshoot complex controls issues on critical automation assets, implement long-term reliability improvements, and design new controls components for PCB manufacturing lines at SpaceX. Your work ensures maximum uptime and integrates vendor equipment into centralized SCADA systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma + 2+ years in manufacturing; OR bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
• 2+ years experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic systems
• Hands-on electrical and controls software skills
• PLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA, Allen-Bradley RS Logix)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor/OEM equipment into centralized SCADA software for advanced line control
• Maximize uptime of automation assets on advanced manufacturing lines
• Develop data analysis tools to root-cause downtime sources and propose long-term fixes
• Spec and procure components, sensors, and hardware for controls solutions
• Wire, commission, and validate electromechanical and pneumatic control systems
