You'll lead day-to-day security threat management at xAI, supporting threat intelligence, hunting, detection, and incident response. You'll collaborate with partner teams to identify and manage potential incidents across global infrastructure. This role offers direct impact in a small, flat organization with a focus on engineering excellence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead security incident response and manage on-call rotation
• Develop new detection use cases and optimize existing detections
• Conduct threat hunting missions to quantify and reduce threats
• Design automation to reduce false positives and handle events

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant information security experience
• Strong Python scripting skills
• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals and practices
• Experience managing or deploying security technology

✨ Nice to Have

• Elastic / OpenSearch experience
• Open Source security automation tooling
• Certifications like CISA, CRISC, or Security+
