Description

As a Lead Power BI Developer, you will conduct customer discovery meetings, design star schema data models, and create Power BI solutions including reports and dashboards. You will guide customers on deploying to Power BI service and optimize data pipelines using Databricks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer, engineering, data science or related field
• Experience managing/leading a team
• 8+ years working with data and BI solutions on Microsoft tool stack
• Working knowledge of TSQL, data modeling, reporting using Power BI
• Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters
• Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
• Knowledge of data mashups using Power Query/M language
• Utilize Databricks platform to develop and optimize data pipelines
• Ability to report visual choices and visual interactions

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery meetings to determine reporting requirements
• Understand and work with customer on Power BI Licensing
• Create well performing star schema data models for Power BI
• Create Power BI solutions including importing data, building reports and dashboards
• Guide customers on deploying Power BI solutions to the Power BI service
