You'll own the end-to-end development of mechanical hardware for robotic spacecraft systems, including robotic arms and satellite structures. You'll design, prototype, assemble, and test hardware while feeding lessons back to improve design standards. This role combines hands-on work with direct impact on real space missions and next-gen robotics.

  • Design and iterate mechanical hardware for robotic and spacecraft systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineers on requirements and interfaces.
  • Assemble, integrate, and maintain prototypes and early builds.
  • Plan and execute testing to drive design improvements.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience designing and manufacturing electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with mechanical CAD and creating drawings.
  • Hands-on ability with mechanical assembly and testing.

  • Experience with spacecraft or satellite systems.
  • Familiarity with reliability testing methods.
  • Ability to work at test sites like Mojave.
