Description

You will be responsible for HVAC maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting at Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex, ensuring critical systems support the production of the Neutron launch vehicle. Your work directly impacts the timely build and launch of rockets for space missions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of building systems: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, waste management
• Ability to handle hazardous waste streams in compliance with regulations
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and equipment commissioning
• Willingness to respond to emergency calls including weekends and off-hours

Responsibilities

• HVAC maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
• Preventative maintenance including diagnosing package units, split units, exhaust fans, and changing filters
• Facility operations: general building equipment maintenance, repair, and improvement projects
• Maintain all building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, waste management)
• Manage facilities ticketing system (JIRA) and set repair priorities
