Description

You will install, start up, troubleshoot, and service Variable Frequency Drives in commercial HVAC systems, working with AC voltages up to 480V. Travel to client sites in the region is required, with occasional night and weekend work.

Requirements

• Prior VFD experience
• Prior experience with VFDs as they apply to AHUs, pump applications, and cooling towers is a plus
• Working knowledge of the HVAC loop, circuitry, and schematics
• Building Management Systems experience / working knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to work and learn

Responsibilities

• Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and general service of VFDs
• Knowing proper operation of hand and power tools, running wires, conduit work, and use of electronic measuring tools – multi-meters, amp clamps, and harmonic analyzers
• Traveling to clients
