Description
Join Motional's mapping team to build next-generation mapping systems for autonomous vehicles using Python and C++. You'll tackle complex challenges in large-scale mapping, work with diverse sensor and geospatial data, and mentor fellow engineers.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- 5+ years experience in state estimation and SLAM
- Deep experience with C++ or Python
- Strong foundation in nonlinear optimization and numerical linear algebra
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Tackle complex challenges in large-scale mapping using state-of-the-art methods
- Develop high-quality, scalable software with Python, C++, and advanced technologies
