Description

As a Propulsion Technician at SpaceX, you will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain flight and development Raptor engines at the Starbase launch and test facility. You'll support engine testing and integration operations, collaborate with engineers on process improvements, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while witnessing rocket engine tests firsthand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years experience with complex mechanical systems, high pressure fluid/pneumatic systems, or heavy equipment
• 1+ years experience in integration or engine testing
• 1+ years experience troubleshooting basic electrical test instrumentation
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain flight and development engines
• Stage, set up, assemble, test, and install flight, qualification, and development hardware
• Read and interpret work instructions and drawings
• Prepare engine and test articles, test stands, and systems for operations
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and document activities and processes
