You'll conduct thermal analysis and simulation of battery packs for an all-electric aircraft with minimal noise. You'll optimize battery thermal management systems for performance and safety, and validate models through testing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct thermal analysis and simulation of battery packs using CAE tools
• Develop efficient simulation methods and workflows
• Design and optimize battery thermal management systems
• Plan and execute thermal testing to validate models

📋 Requirements

• Familiarity with CFD/CAE tools such as STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics
• Understanding of numerical methods and simulation workflows
• Familiarity with programming in Python or Matlab/Simulink

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with eVTOLs or other electric aircraft programs
• Experience with thermal management system design for HV battery
• Experience with software development practices including Git, CI/CD, Conda
