💼 About This Role

You'll lead Nium's US Money Transmission Licence (MTL) programme and crypto-specific licensing across the US and Canada. You'll own the end-to-end licensing strategy and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Commercial teams to deliver successful market launches. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of regulatory strategy and cross-functional delivery.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead US Money Transmission Licence applications end-to-end
• Manage state-by-state crypto licence strategies and variations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for licensing delivery
• Support integration with Canada's real-time payment infrastructure

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in legal, compliance, or consulting with US financial services regulation exposure
• Proven experience managing US state MTL applications from preparation to approval
• Strong understanding of US MTL frameworks including surety bonds and net worth obligations
• Experience with crypto or virtual currency licensing at state level (e.g. NY BitLicense)
