💼 About This Role

You'll build network automation tools and Python scripts to support SpaceX's large and growing network infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the design, manufacturing, and launch of rockets and spacecraft. Collaborate closely with network engineers to create highly operable and maintainable infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build network automation tools for switch configurations and config backups.
• Create Python scripts to automate manual network processes.
• Measure and improve uptime and performance of the corporate network.
• Act as technical product owner for network engineering tools.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science and 5+ years of network automation experience.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Automation skills in Python, Go, shell, bash, or other languages.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IPv4/IPv6, gaming, voice, video, etc.
• Experience with Git or Subversion for version control.
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, or other automation frameworks.
