💼 About This Role

You'll join the Relevance team to build ML systems that power creator discovery and content surfacing across Patreon. You'll work on search, ranking, feed relevance, and creator-fan matching, collaborating with a small team of MLEs and cross-functional partners to deliver measurable impact. This role offers hybrid flexibility at a mission-driven company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct exploratory data analyses and build proof-of-concept ML models.
• Prepare training data and iterate on ML models using novel techniques.
• Deploy ML models to production and write backend code as needed.
• Debug model performance gaps and iterate on models.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end ML experience including production deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and production-level coding.
• Experience debugging complex systems systematically.
• Ability to analyze datasets for product insights.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with A/B testing and experiment design.
• Familiarity with crowdsourcing data labeling techniques.
• Experience in search, ranking, or recommendation systems.
