Description

In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers to deploy applications for advanced space payloads, supporting the U.S. Space Development Agency's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. You'll drive AWS cloud best practices, automate deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
• 1-3 years of software engineering or DevOps management experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and Counterintelligence Polygraph
• 10+ years of experience architecting AWS cloud solutions with EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, or S3
• Experience with DevOps tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory) and IaC (Ansible, Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers across enterprise tools, finance tools, engineering development, and software deployment
• Drive best practices for AWS Cloud based architecture and environments
• Develop and support pipelines for automation, containers, data management, and release/deployment solutions
• Automate software deployments using virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, Cloud environments, and bare metal
• Lead Agile sprints and associated activities
