Description

You will develop highly reliable, real-time software for SpaceX's Starlink satellite network, spanning gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches. Your work will directly improve global broadband internet access, especially for underserved communities, by solving complex challenges in a resource-constrained environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or STEM with 5+ years exp, or 7+ years exp without degree
• Development experience in C, C++, or assembly
• Strong production experience with C, C++, or assembly
• Knowledge of real-time rendering, game engine dev, physics simulation, or resource-constrained high-perf computing
• Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP) and distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time software for gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments for key design concepts
• Build tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, and test execution
• Deploy reliable software and test execution in a continuous integration system
