Description

As a Staff SRE at Luno, you'll provide technical expertise for reliability and scalability across our cloud estate, shaping the platform's future and partnering with engineering teams to scale reliability. You'll manage multi-region Kubernetes and AWS at scale in a regulated financial environment, owning large-scale platform initiatives from problem definition through delivery.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience in SRE, Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering
• Strong AWS knowledge with multi-account, multi-region environments
• Production-grade Kubernetes experience with strict uptime requirements
• Extensive experience with observability and monitoring tooling
• Experience managing large infrastructure projects using Terraform

Responsibilities

• Own and drive large-scale platform initiatives from problem definition through delivery
• Shape platform team operations: architectural standards and incident response
• Build and scale infrastructure and CI/CD using Infrastructure as Code
• Apply security-first principles to ensure compliance with audits
• Contribute to long-term roadmap while staying hands-on
