You will lead and grow teams building foundational platform capabilities, partnering with product and engineering leadership to transform AI capabilities into shared product infrastructure. Your work will ensure Anthropic's products operate securely, reliably, and efficiently at scale.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in ambiguous, early-stage environments
• Excel at creating psychological safety and guiding teams through uncertainty
• Strong cross-functional leadership to build alignment between research, engineering, and product
• Skilled at facilitating decision-making rather than imposing solutions
• Comprehensive technical understanding of modern software product development processes

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing team of software engineers in 0-1 platform development
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to align direction and execution
• Create a balanced environment encouraging iterative improvement and rigorous evaluation
• Help partner teams develop approaches for sharing capabilities and evolving the platform
• Represent the platform perspective in discussions with research, product, and leadership
