You'll perform fiber optic repair and restoration for a global technology and logistics company, ensuring rapid return of services in high-availability environments. Collaborate with field operations and engineers to maintain backbone and metro networks. This role requires expertise in fusion splicing and OTDR analysis under strict SLAs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform fault isolation and repairs on fiber optic cables
• Conduct single and ribbon fiber splicing in vaults and ODFs
• Operate OTDR, OLTS, and fusion splicer for testing
• Document repair activities and maintain compliance logs

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in fiber optic repair and splicing
• Proficient with OTDR, fusion splicer, and power meter
• Experience with single-mode and ribbon fiber systems
• Ability to work in OSP and ISP environments

✨ Nice to Have

• FOA CFOT or CFOS/T certification
• Experience with high-count ribbon fiber (864+)
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure
